Hillside Christian Church, in partnership with Orange Curriculum, wants to bring you all the tools to do online church with your children. You will find info for you as a parent to help you lead your kids, teaching videos to watch together, worship playlists, and daily God Time questions for Elementary Kids. We pray these resources are a blessing to you and your family!
On your first visit, make your way to the Guest Services Desk in the lobby outside of the main auditorium. Here, one of our incredible volunteers will greet you, help you make your way into the main service or to the Kids area if you have children, and answer any questions you may have.
Parents need to check in their kids (birth - 5th Grade) before service. Plan on arriving 15-20 minutes early so that we can walk you through our secure check-in and check-out system. During this time we can register your family, check-in your children, and lead you to your child’s classroom.
Every week in Hillside Kids, a group of incredible leaders will talk to your child about what it looks like to know Jesus! We do this by singing worship songs, teaching stories from the Bible, and having group activities and discussions that help your child grow close to Jesus.
In addition to teaching the Bible every week, we have three core truths that we focus on in each phase of a child's development.
In our Early Childhood and Preschool envirnoments, your child will learn that:
In our Elementary environments, your child will learn that:
We have volunteers available at every turn, so just look for someone with a nametag and friendly smile. They're here to help!
To find out more about Hillside and to get connected, you can talk to any of our incredible volunteers and staff. They would love to answer any questions that you might have.
You are also invited to join us at our next membership class where we will share with you our beliefs and core values, give you a place to ask questions about our Hillside, and help you identify what your next step can be in your faith.
Baptism Class is an opportunity for you and your child to come join our team as we dive into the Bible and see what God tells us about knowing Him, what it means to put our faith and trust in Him, and why we believe that baptism is an important next step as a Christ-follower.
We ask that at least one parent or guardian attend this class with your child. Additionally, childcare is not provided but siblings are more than welcome to join in the class as well.
