Our door greeters share the love of Jesus by holding open every door and personally welcoming every guest that walks through them.

Ushers aid in making our auditorium a friendly and functional space for guests! Ushers do this by guiding people towards their seats, and at the conclusion of services, they pick up communion cups and straighten next step cards.

Our parking team takes hospitality to the next level by directing traffic and welcoming people as they make their way towards our building. They understand that the first impressions matter and begin in the parking lot so they strive to make that a great experience.

Coffee team members help create a warm and welcoming environment by brewing and serving coffee to all of our guests.

Our baptism assistants serve by meeting people on the day of their baptism and preparing them for their special celebration! This includes hearing their story, meeting loved ones, showing them the baptistery and changing area, while prepping their towels and baptism clothing.

Small Group Leaders lead children in fun, hands-on activities that support the Bible lesson being taught for the day. In every environment, birth-5th Grade, Small Group Leaders help make sure every child feels welcomed, hears about Jesus, and has a fun time!

Check-In volunteers are the front line of making Sunday mornings incredible. This team helps families use our secure check-in process to quickly get families and kids headed into their correct environments. Our Check-In team also welcomes families that are newer to Hillside, guiding them through the process of signing in their children and letting them know about Kid's Ministry at our church.

Our Platform Team is comprised of worship leaders, platform hosts, and storytellers! This team engages children in each environment by leading them in worship, Bible teaching and fun! Have someone told you that you bring the energy? Then this is the spot for you!

Our worship tech volunteers lead our children by running the lights and sound that support the teaching and singing that is taking place in each environment.

The Weekday Suport Team is there to help prepare environments and supplies to be used each weekend. You might help make copies, prepare fun activities, among other things that are essential to making sure our environments are clean and fun for children each Sunday!

Check-In volunteers are the front-line of making Hillside Students incredible. This team guides students though the first-time guest process and makes sure everyone feels welcomed and knows where to go next.

We believe that an Adult Group Leader is a primary catalyst for disciple-making our 6th-12th Grade Students. Adult Leaders walk alongside students as they develop their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage them to put their faith into action. Adult Leaders are expected to consistently attend their Group, invest in students, and model how to navigate discussions.

Student Drivers is the name we give to High School students who are willing to use their influence to invest in their circle of friends and invite them to Group. So no, you do not have to be able to drive a car! Student Drivers work together with the Student Team Staff, Adult Leaders, and other Student Drivers to consistently invite new friends to Group, plan fun activities, and help lead spiritual discussions with their peers.

Do you live and breath music? Our audio team mixes sound for worship services, making sure the music is clear and the message is heard.

The Lighting Team controls the lighting console, following pre-produced list lighting cues throughout a worship service. The lighting team’s goal is to match the feel of worship currently being communicated on platform.

Ever used PowerPoint? ProPresenter is PowerPoint - but better! This team is behind every lyric, scripture, graphics, motion graphics, and video playback you see on the screens. They help make services incredible and engaging so that anyone can know what we are talking about or singing, and where we are going next!

If you happen to attend our Amarillo West or Lubbock campus, we have one additional team - our Camera Crew! This team includes camera operators, video switchers, and video directors - all working together to create engaging experiences for those in the room and beyond the room.

Each week, a team of incredible volunteers come up to the church to help clean. Together, our staff and volunteers work to make sure our buildings are clean, sanitized, and well kept so that each and every time a guest walks into the building they have a wonderful experience. This is a great way you can come and serve with our team during the week!

Each week, our teams have a variety of random things that help make ministry happen! We regularly need help printing and prepping activities for Hillside Kids environments, setting up for special events, and other miscellaneous tasks that help ensure people are able to connect with our church and have a great experience everytime they come to Hillside.
