Dear Hillside Family,

We praise God for His faithfulness as we have witnessed countless lives transformed at Hillside in 2024! Through your generous and faithful giving, the Lord has provided the resources to fulfill our mission to love God as we lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). As we share these ministry moments from this year, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father for His continued work through our church family:

  • We have celebrated 483 baptisms so far in 2024! It is powerful to see people accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and then go public with their faith through baptism.
  • 2,886 kids and students attended a life-changing week of Camp! Your generosity enabled us to subsidize the cost of every student going to Camp and provide scholarships to families as they had need.
  • 2024 began with a message series called "The Bible and Mental Health." Through the first 10 months of this year, we have provided 1,420 hours of counseling. Our staff has also offered countless hours of pastoral care, prayer, and encouragement to those in need.
  • 52 mission partners received financial support to advance the Kingdom of God locally, nationally, and globally. Thanks to your generosity, we have added several projects, partners, and short-term mission trip opportunities.
  • We nearly doubled the size of our Internship and Residency Program! Through intentional discipleship, we invested in 27 interns and residents as they served the Lord and continued to discern His calling on their lives. Since 2018, 95 people have gone through this program; 40 currently serve in ministry roles, including 18 here at Hillside!
  • Through a partnership with Pioneer Bible Translators and a like-minded church in Kentucky, we funded the translation of the Book of Acts into the Kinyamulenge language. This enabled the Banyamulenge people - refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo - to read Acts in their native language for the first time. This Kingdom work impacts believers from Congo to our Amarillo North Grand Campus, where Banyamulenge families can now study more Scripture in their native language!

Your faithful and consistent giving enables these ministries to grow and flourish, transforming lives for God's Kingdom. Thank you for continuing to be obedient in your tithes and offerings, remembering Jesus' words, 'it is more blessed to give than to receive' (Acts 20:35). Let's continue to give generously to the Lord and His Kingdom!

Every year, we have a year-end giving emphasis at Hillside. We encourage and challenge our church family to finish the year strong with our tithes and offerings. If you have fallen behind in your giving, would you please consider catching up? If you feel led to give extra, above and beyond, would you please prayerfully consider doing so? All of our year-end giving is going to Hillside's general fund which supports our ongoing ministry operations churchwide. To make a gift online, click here. This is a great opportunity through our year-end giving to express our love and gratitude to Jesus Christ! Thank you for your generosity, and we wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!
